Crescent Europe is the European subsidiary of the Crescent Cardboard Company USA. Founded in 1902, Crescent Cardboard Company is one of the world's leading mountboard manufacturers. Its centrally located warehouse in Germany, Crescent Europe, is one of the leading suppliers of matboard and products for the European picture framing industry, offering the largest range of colours and qualities in the mountboard industry.
During the past years, Crescent has continuously expanded its portfolio and is now offering a comprehensive range of products for the picture framing industry, including mountboard, backing board and foam board, as well as picture framing glass and tapes.
Crescent categorises its range of products into three different framing standards: GOOD BETTER BEST, which conform to the guidelines set by the Fine Art Trade Guild.
GOOD = STANDARD
All products in the GOOD category offer standard protection for artwork.
BETTER = CONSERVATION
All products in the BETTER category offer higher levels of protection for conservation level framing.
BEST = MUSEUM
All products in the BEST category offer the highest level of protection for museum level framing.
